| Wow, it's already July! Oh mai June, where have you gone to?! ::sob sob:: | | |
| Had mai first night on the floor. It was pretty easy going. Nights seem like they are less hectic than days so I'm glad I'm being scheduled nights. Everything is pretty easy - emptying foleys, moving and readjusting patients - the hardest things will be sticks (cus all mai patients have really small veins) and baths (just cus you gotta move the person's dead weight around while you clean them up). The hours weren't too bad, cept we had a staff meeting immediately after mai shift ended and it was mai first night. I donno, something bout seeing the sun set at the beginning of mai shift and then seeing it rise again near the end of mai shift, didn't really wanna be there for the extra time of a meeting, but whatev. Mai boss, Colleen, is awesome - so much energy. So yeh, good times.
